This is a comic book that has been created by the Belgian artist Herge and starred by the character known as Tintin, has been a favourite of many all over the world for a very long time; even from the time of it first appearing on the scene in 1929. This movie review will look at this great collaboration between Jackson (Peter) and Steven Spielberg; as it takes us through what is a great adventure.

Based in 3 books, The Adventures of Tintin is divided into; The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn as well as Red Rackham's Treasure. The adventure of Tintin and gruff, as well as Captain Haddock, the alcoholic seadog were also captured in the screenplay that is written by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish and Steven Moffat.

The Adventures of Tintin has stunning animation as well as some wonderful staging that carries you right back to your childhood days. This movie was masterfully directed by Spielberg and Jackson did a great job at producing. Haddock's hallucination trip was nicely caught and put together in the movie. One disadvantage to the movie is that you may miss some of the adventures as well as thought processes of Tintin.

Being Spielberg's virgin attempt at animation; he did a great job in bringing out the diversity of the work of Herge. Watching this animation in 3D is spectacular and he succeeded in drawing the attention of a diverse audiednce. In honouring Herge, he made his characters come to life and light up the imagination of both the young as well as the young at heart. He also remained true to the film's European background and you can see a shot of Morocco which gave the film a very authentic feel. In addition, watching the chase on the roller-coaster is nothing short of amazing.

The scenes transitions are awesome in the Adventures of Tintin, as Spielberg's attention to details was very evident, and coupled with John William's beautiful orchestral score; the movie has a musical interpretation that is second to none. In addition, you will inevitably want to make a comparison with the symphonic theme by Jim Morgan, Tom Szczesniak and Ray Parker. However, they are all so splendidly done that it would be difficult to give any one a higher score than the other.

All in all, this movie review gives The Adventures of Tintin a high rating in customer satisfaction, great animation, great music, wonderful changes in scene; overall a great movie.
